我擁有的飾品都承載著我的珍貴時刻，每一件都會牽引出一些特別的回憶。
They all represent precious moments to me, every piece that I own has a special memory or thought associated with it.
這是一塊雕花玉佩，銀背上刻有漢字。父親從我的爺爺手中傳承了這件首飾，並在我出生的時候送了給我。父親的兄弟們和父親一樣，都擁有相同的玉佩，但他們在早些年已經丟失了自己那塊，所以我擁有的這塊玉珮是家族裡唯一僅存的。
從我有記憶開始，我就一直戴著這塊玉珮。小時候，我還會咬它，以至於背面的字都看不見了了。我的叔叔們也都忘了玉珮上面的文字，如今看到這塊玉珮殘留的刻痕，其實都是我留的痕跡。它一直與我形影不離，直到掛著它的項鍊扣子斷了，我才把它摘下來，並委託我的乾媽拿去維修。可乾媽後來忘記了這件事，也忘了存放它的地方。十多年來，我以為我已經永遠失去了這塊玉珮，直到乾媽有一日偶然清理汽車時，竟在手套箱一個Tempo紙巾袋裡找到了它。
It is a carved jade flower pendant on a silver backing with Chinese characters engraved on it. I was given this piece of jewellery when I was a baby, handed down to me from my father who in turn received it from his father. My father and his brothers all had the same necklace, but they all lost theirs, so mine is the only that we still have.
I used to wear it everyday because I had always done so for as long as I can remember, and as a child I would chew on it, so the characters on the back have all faded. My uncles have also forgotten what the writing was on it, so now the engraving that remains on it is in the form of bite marks. I wore it until the clasp broke, then I entrusted it to my godmother to have it fixed, but she never did. Then after more than 10 years, I thought I was the one who had lost it forever, until completely out of the blue, she suddenly decided to tidy out her car and she found it! In a Tempo pocket tissue packet, in her car glove box!

這塊玉珮有著太多的回憶，更重要的是，它與我們家緊密相連。我曾在父親離世後不斷尋找這塊丟失的玉珮，反覆翻查它可能被遺留的地方，希望只是我不小心沒看到。當我以為已經永遠丟失了這塊玉珮，打算放棄尋找時，乾媽卻突然找到了它，這看起來就像是一個奇蹟。找到這塊玉珮後，我立刻發了張照片與叔叔們分享，其中一位叔叔竟立刻說，這是屬於他的玉珮。但我知道叔叔很多年前已經丟失了自己的玉珮，因為這塊玉珮對我們家來說有著特別的意義，所以叔叔在看到它時會有這樣的直覺反應。當我想到，這塊玉珮除了有我們賦予的情感回憶外，還有著它自己的小冒險，就會覺得非常神奇。
自從找回這塊玉佩後，我更覺得它對於我來說很重要，只怕再丟失了它，所以我沒有再戴著它，而是把它存放在保險箱，等到我叔叔的孩子有了他們自己的孩子時，我便可以贈送給他們，以傳承下去。儘管它看起來只是一塊普通的玉珮，但對於我們家來說，它是無價之寶。
The piece carries many memories and associations, but above all, it is about our family. It was lost, then surprisingly found again after my father passed away, I looked for it a lot after he passed, I looked in the same places again and again, hoping I'd missed it somehow. Then it seemed like a miracle when my godmother found it just as I thought that it was gone forever. After it was found again, I immediately shared a picture of it with my uncles and one of them replied straight away, and claimed that it was his necklace! But I knew that they had lost theirs long ago, it was his first instinct because the necklace is special to all of us. It’s amazing to think that in addition to these significances that we emotionally place on the object, the piece has even had a little physical adventure of its own!
Ever since I have found my pendant, the importance I attach to it has grown, I'm so afraid of losing it again, so I don’t wear it anymore, it's now in a safe, waiting until my uncle’s kids have their children so I can gift it to them. Although it seems like an ordinary pendant, it’s an invaluable family treasure.
