The meaning and story behind jewelry do not end with the creator, through the experience; the jewelry is also recording stories, memories or ideas that belong to the wearer and the piece.
媽媽從曾祖母的遺物中送了我一對耳環，它是一件記載著我和她之間重要回憶的禮物，但是很可惜在一次出差中遺失了….
它是一雙很漂亮的純銀耳環，耳針都比現在一般的粗大，耳圈上面雕刻著傳統銀器常出現的蝠鼠圖案並勾劃著一種獨特的輪廓。隨著經年累月的佩戴，整個耳環都變成一種搓不掉的純黑色，給它添上一份不可取替的美。這種耳環可能在以前的年代是一件很普遍的飾品，但在我而言它的美是來自它帶著與曾祖母之間的點點滴滴，像是她給我的護身符。雖然意外地失掉是有點遺憾，但也正因為這份遺憾，讓我對曾祖母的思念和回憶都變得更深。
My mother gave me a pair of my great-grandmother’s earrings after she passed away, it is a precious gift that reminds me of all the important memories between my great-grandmother and me. Unfortunately, I lost it on a business trip...
It is a lovely pair of sterling silver hoop earrings with thick studs, engraved with the traditional Lucky Bat pattern that creates a unique outline. With years of life, the entire pair of earrings has turned into pure black that cannot be rubbed off, which adds on an irreplaceable sense of beauty. These earrings may have been a common item back then, however, for me, their beauty lies in that they carry every bit of memories me and my great-grandmother share, they are like a talisman she gave me. Although I lost it in such an unexpected way, because of how cherished it was, the incident deepened my memories and miss for my great-grandmother.

於我的創作理念而言，首飾不只是一種裝飾物，更是信息和感受的傳訊者。在每件作品背後，都撰寫著不同的故事和想法，希望可以透過它傳遞給其他人。我作為一位創作者希望可以透過自己的雙手去演繹出屬於不同人的故事和他們之間的聯繫。
Jewellery, in my creative philosophy, is more than just a decoration; it is a message conveyor that delivers stories and feelings. Behind each piece are stories and ideas that I wish to pass on to others. As a creator, I hope to create pieces that illustrate the stories and connections of various people through my hands.
尤記得裸辭後獨自到英國進修的那段經歷，在那過程中我遇到各種各樣的人並收穫了很多新體驗，這次經歷啟發了我去做一個有關Bonding和Connection的創作。我聯絡了在不同地方相遇的人，讓他們用塑膠彩（acrylic）把指模印在宣紙或相似的紙品上寄給我，然後我把它和自己用螢光粉印下的指模，透過樹脂重疊在戒指上面。而因為我的指模是用螢光粉印下，所以這種重疊只會在晚上或暗黑下才呈現，以一種較隱晦的方式去闡述我們相遇的故事，亦代表著我們之間的聯繫。
After my resignment, I had a unique journey while studying in the UK, where I met different people and harvested lots of special memories, this experience inspired me to create pieces about Bonding and Connection. I start off by asking the people I have met to stamp their fingerprints with acrylic paint on Chinese calligraphy paper or similar material and send them to me. Then, I insert them together with my own fingerprint that was stamped with fluorescent powder onto a ring via resin. Since my fingerprints are printed with fluorescent powder, the overlapping effect only appears at night or in darkness, a subtle way to showcase the stories of my encounters with them and represent the connections we had.
