‘Gimmel', comes from the Latin 'gemllus', meaning twin. The gemmel ring is a design of two or more bands joined together, were commonly used in 16th and 17th century to signify a betrothal or marriage. When the bands swivel and align they become one ring, symbolising the union of two people.
Dimension: band width approximately 2.5mm or 3mm
Material: sterling silver, 18K white gold, 18K yellow gold or 18K rose gold
