Jingle bell~jingle all the way~大家耳熟能詳的Jingle Bell又稱馬鈴或雪鈴，早在古時牧人經會在牲口上繫上金屬鈴鐺以免其走失；歐洲國家其後將雪鈴繫於拉動雪橇的馬匹上，當馬匹走動在冬日被厚雪覆蓋的地面時發出清脆的鈴聲以警剔途人避免走近，其後雪鈴亦演化成一種敲擊樂器。也許是因其悅耳的聲響及和冬日的聯繫；雪鈴自此就和聖誕節有著了密不可分的關係。
今個冬日OBELLERY將推出銀鈴鐺工作坊，讓您從銀片開始打造自己清脆的小掛飾，您將會從中學到如切割、退火、焊接、挫修、打磨等的基本金工技巧，成品可用作不同吊飾之餘亦可扣在自製的銀手鐲上。
The distinctive sound of the jingle bell is no stranger to anyone, especially during this time of the year. It was centuries ago, European countries started attaching sleigh bells onto harnesses of sleigh horses to warn off pedestrians by sound, which was especially efficient in winter times when the ground was covered by thick snow. Jingle bells were also developed into a form of percussion instruments, with their bright tone along with its connotation with the winter, the sound of jingle bell has almost become an unofficial symbol that represents Christmas.
Obellery will be holding a silver sleigh bell workshop this winter. You will learn to construct a sleigh bell starting from a plain silver sheet. Which could be used as an accessory or attached to a self-made silver bangle. In the process, you will get a taste of traditional silver smithing skills such as piercing, filing, forging, annealing, and more.

This summer, Obellery will be holding a time-limited gemstone signet ring workshop, allowing you to hand-craft your own signet ring and learning to set a precious piece of gemstone on top, making it a perfect workshop for the crafty fashionistas!
