Stories Recruit for OBELLERY GALLERY’s New Research Project : “Worn story”
當聽到珠寶首飾時，大概很多人都會立刻聯想到金錢昂貴物料貴重的珠寶首飾。你腦海出現的第一個聯想是什麼？因為物料昂貴而貴重？因手工精細稀有而貴重？還是它的歷史價值而貴重？
當首飾與其主人經過歲月洗禮之後， 它的價值是否依然侷限於物料上？可能更多的是賦予其一份難以言喻的可貴；可能是一種象徵、一個𠄘諾或一份思念。 哪怕只是一片粗糙的石製吊墜也能讓人無比動容。當無法再由精密儀器去客觀衡量其價值時，究竟它的價值由誰定義？
OBELLERY現正籌辦一場意在探索人與首飾之間關係的展覽，期望透過大眾提供的各種逸事，拼湊出一幅嘗試解讀首飾奢華面紗背後所盛載的精神意義的拼圖。
不論您的故事是喜是悲；是多是寡都無任歡迎提供。
有意參加者現只需於下方縺結透過線上問卷調查提供簡易資料即可；當中某些被挑選的分享者更可能被進一步邀請參與展覽。

Precious gemstones and historic jewels are no stranger to appraisals, but beyond carats and hallmarks, the sentimental attachements of a piece can bear even greater significance.
Obellery Gallery is currently gathering personal stories to examine the intimate relationship between jewellery and its owner. Piecing together every contribution we can gather, we hope to unveil the underlying ethos behind its glorious facade.
No matter if your story is a lengthy one or simply a heartwarming short, all is welcome. Click on the link below if you wouldn't mind contributing to our project, selected patrons may be invited to take on a bigger role in the upcoming exhibition.
