BELINDA CHANG

Founder of OBELLERY - her Impasto collection will be first exhibited at this “Made by” event.

The name “impasto” is borrowed from a decorative painting technique where paint is layered to create a dynamic visual effect. Drawing similarities between that and the overlaying gemstone and mother of pearl, the avant-garde approach to stone-setting makes for an exotic sight.

His casting works which involve botanicals and insects are memorable, by using his talents in metal casting, he shares his thoughts of boundless imagination through the organic creatures.

Chris believes, in the creation of his floral pieces, to appreciate the existence of the flower is to remember the specific own, replicating every aspect of it to become a lifetime wearable sculpture.

HUGO YEUNG

Hugo is a celebrated silversmith and experienced educator in the field of design. His works range from contemporary studio jewellery to large scale domestic and sculptural like objects. His pieces embody the captivating simplicity of geometry, his very own interpretation of the geometric forms established a consistent visual language that became an aesthetic in his own right.
